The Lughnasa Festival in Macroom returns for it's second consecutive year, running from August 16th to 22nd. This years highlights willl include Mick Flannery and Damien Dempsey on Friday 20th. Tickets are available at tickets.ie. The weeks line up will include Ceol O Mhuscrai, Two Time Polka, Artisan Markets, Children's Pavement Art, Cookery Demonstrations and much more!


Other August Gigs include - An evening of Irish Stories, Poetry and Traditional Concertina at The Briery Gap Theatre on Sunday August 15th.


And Christy Moore in Solo Concert also at The Briery Gap on August 17th.

• Some of the most popular things to do in Macroom are: leisurely strolls by the banks of The Sullane River, afternoons of fun learning to water ski & a family day out at Millstreet County Park.
