‘Circus’ was the 2010 Macroom Parade theme with people encouraged to dress up as clowns and add to the fun and colour of the parade.
Macroom's St. Patrick’s Day Parade welcomed many guests and many brightly dressed clowns! Our guests included those from Philadelphia, Marcallo con Casone and Bubry. To mark the 30th anniversary of the town’s twinning with Bubry, M. Yves Nicolas, Mayor of the Breton town was Grand Marshal of the Parade for 2010.
